The Mew and Ditto Theory

Due to my inability to post a conspiracy yesterday, I posted the Lavender Town Syndrome theory, but to make up for a skipped day, here's a little conspiracy to get the brain going.

We all know lovable Mew who first appeared in the movie Pokemon: The First Movie. This legendary appeared beside its clone, the misunderstood Mewtwo.

And Pokemon fan would know that Giovanni cloned Mew in order to make the most powerful Pokemon that he could use in his gym and also for Team Rocket, but he couldn't have possibly gotten the cloning process right the very first time.

The popular theory is that the lovable, squishy Ditto are failed clones of Mew made by Team Rocket and Giovanni.

Some Pokemon fans out there are either talking this theory up, or crushing this theory to the ground. I know I couldn't believe at first, but honestly. Both Pokemon are able to copy or learn any move, even though Ditto is only for a short time, and both are able to learn the move Transform. They are both similarly colored with the exact same weight of 8.8 lbs. Also, Ditto are most common inside Cinnabar Mansion where the Mew and Mewtwo experiments took place.

Though this may be over thinking the world filled with imaginary creatures and wild adventures, it is plausible, but even if Ditto aren't failed Mew, I will love both unconditionally.

I hope you enjoyed my not-so-short little article to make up for my absence yesterday. Have a wonderful/night.

The Lavender Town Syndrome

For those who play the ever popular game Pokemon, in Pokemon Yellow, Red, and Blue (or Green in Japan), Lavender Town was simply the creepy town where there wasn't a gym leader to defeat and Pokemon Tower stood. Pokemon Tower was the final resting place for Pokemon who had died due to many causes and people travel from all over the region to lay their friends to rest.

What is the most popular myth or conspiracy behind this small purple town is the Lavender Town Syndrome. The creepy music that plays in the original games isn't the same as it was when first released in Japan. Pokemon Red and Green were released with the Lavender Town theme raised to a higher frequency.

Surrounding the release of these two games, a spike in child suicides and illness between 10-15 popped in Japan. When investigating this occurrence, police found that each child had something in common; all the children had made it to Lavender Town on the games. They believed the high frequencies of the theme was the cause of the suicides and illness. It was apparently a frequency only underdeveloped ears could hear and it only affected children listening to the theme through headphones.

People claim that these stories were all true and from credible sources (because Kyoto refused to release anything about the happenings) and some even recounted their own creepy tales. I've read articles about adults listening the old theme and constantly hearing it playing faintly, no matter what they did. One very creepy story involved someone leaving their house for a week to rid themselves of the tune, and after returning to their home, their sister asked them to watch their nephew. The person awoke in the middle of the night to see their nephew dead at the computer, the tune playing faintly, and writing on the screen was "Do not mourn me. I've gone to the noble purple town now." Another story is a girl playing the music to her friend playing through headphones and her friend seizing and dying days later.

I can not deny that this theory is creepy, but, as explained by people on the internet and YouTube, the facts just do not add up. I'm not saying that the people telling these stories are lying; on the contrary, weird things happen all the time in our world. But look through this. Suicide caused by a simply tone and frequency? I don't find that to be possible. I believe the illness, such as headaches and migraines, but I feel suicide was simply added in by the internet to make it sound creepier than it is. The internet tends to do that.

Simply though, in my opinion, this conspiracy's facts don't follow through for me. There are holes, but I believe a less serious version.

Have a good day lovelies.

A Little About the Childhood Conspiratorist

Hello. After posting my first post, I realized I told you nothing about me. I've named myself the Childhood Conspiratorist, but the name I was given by my parents is Ariana. I'm 16, yet I love to watch cartoons such as Pokemon and Disney movies. Recently though, I began to google conspiracies against my favorites television shows and movies. Turns out there are a lot, and I decided that, even though there are many blogs explaining the theories, I wanted to give my opinion on whether or not they were true. So here it is, on Blogspot and the internet, a description of the theories and my own beliefs behind them. I'm open to new conspiracy theories anytime, and I'm willing to blog about them.

Expect conspiracies from Pokemon (games and television series), more Rugrats (moving on to All Grown Up), and Disney. Those are only a listing of a few. I'll try to post once or more a day. And I hope you enjoy.

Introduction to the "Childhood Conspiratorist" - Rugrats

Well hello to my dear (hopefully present) readers. This is obviously a new blog, and I'm here to explain the reasons for its appearance on the internet.

Lately, I've been researching things that most probably wouldn't. They're conspiracies based around the children shows we all know and love, such as Rugrats, Pokemon, and Disney. This blog is here to explore these conspiracies, but also show you whether I believe in them or not.

I'll start my first post with non other than a Rugrats conspiracy.

Most people believe the popular Nickelodeon show just to be about a group of four babies far beyond their age going on adventures in the safety of Tommy's home or backyard, but after surfing the web, I found a theory.

The entire theory has to do with Angelica, the girl every watcher knows as the bossy girl a few years older than all of the Rugrats. She loves to scare Tommy, Chuckie, Phil and Lil by giving them crazy ideas such as turning into chicken after getting the chicken pox or growing a watermelon in your stomach after you accidentally eat a seed. The only problem was that things normally turned on her when the four babies learned that it wasn't true.

The theory goes that each of the four babies were a figment of Angelica's imagination to deal with her parents lack of attention. Each baby died in some way. Chuckie, the terrified red-head, actually died in a car crash with his mother, which led to Chuckie's father, Chaz, being continually anxious. Tommy, the fearless leader, was actually born a stillborn which led to Stu, Tommy's father, to spend time in their basement building toys for the son who never lived to play with them. Betty DeVille had an abortion, and since she never knew the sex of the baby, Angelica decided to imagine twins, which brought up the not-so-bright twins Phil and Lil.

In her imagination, Angelica could boss these babies around as she pleased and they would all listen. The only baby who would never listen was Dil, Tommy's brother who is born later on in the series. Because Dil was alive, he wouldn't listen to Angelica and she hated that. She beat poor Dil due to her anger, causing the young baby to have brain damage and never be the same again.

I grew up watching Rugrats, so I know the show pretty well. This conspiracy could hold through. And I know a lot of 90's kids reading this will think "Right in the childhood!" but look at the facts. People will argue that Dil didn't listen due to him being a newborn, but normally young toddlers wouldn't listen either, so what should be the difference with Dil? How come he couldn't partake in the adventures Tommy and his crew went on? Why was Chaz so anxious? Many would say that it's just a part of his personality, but anxiety is known to affect people suffering through depression due to a terrible tragedy such as losing your wife and only child. And why did Stu build toys instead of going out and buying the ones made by professionals? We all know Stu had a passion for toy building (and if I can remember correctly, it was his job), but what if it was due to the tragic loss of a child?

And lastly, the girl the conspiracy is based around: Angelica. This girl is mean, and for years, I believed it was only due to her parents being busy with work and too busy for her. But she had the love of Stu and Didi, her aunt and uncle. Sometimes being ignored by your parents is hard to take, especially at that age, and maybe formulating four babies based on death was the only coping mechanism.

The facts add up, though I hate to make it true to the 90's kids. I'm with you guys; I don't want to believe it, but again, it's only a theory, and those are known to be wrong.

I already have a list of conspiracies having to do with Pokemon, Rugrats, and Disney, but if there's a specific conspiracy you'd like to see, tell me. I'll probably look it up and do it.

Hope you have a wonderful day, and have fun.
